New to Seagate Hastings is a great new shirting brand: Tripl Stitched.
Established as a mens brand in 2014, Tripl Stitched designs and manufactures high-quality clothing from its very own factory on the outskirts of London.
Tripl Stitched has been designing shirts for other high profile names within the fashion industry for a little over a decade. Over this time, Tripl Stitched has managed to perfect the fit, cut, and overall craftsmanship of their clothing.
Tripl Stitched uses vintage machinery such as their Reece S2 button hole machine and Union Special wide felt felled chain stitched armhole machine to create casual contemporary shirts.
Although these vintage machines are not as fast as their modern counterparts, they deliver a unique level of character that exudes quality.
These vintage machines were specifically designed to create the characterful look of button-down shirts that was widely adorned in America during the late 1950’s.
Careful craftsmanship paired with prints from some of Britain’s most innovative minds and materials sourced from the finest Italian and Japanese mills generate a premium quality of shirt that emanates London’s cosmopolitan reputation.
Tripl Stitched use a master plastic cutter to cut classic fits for their button down shirts with high armholes, classic “s” shaped collars, and curved yokes. This gives their shirts a more traditional look with the modern day athletic fit.
Tripl Stitched recently paired up with photographer James Pearson Howes to shoot a stunning selection of photographs for their Autumn Winter 16 collection for Kiosk Magazine. The shoot perfectly exhibits their classic Oxford button-downs and indigo slub chambray shirts in a minimalistic monochrome fashion.
Tripl Stitched crafts durable, beautifully-designed shirts that merely look better with age and exhibit the brand’s quintessential value for authentic quality.
